Seminar on “A Life Worth Living” (took place on November 13th, 2011)
In recent years, there is increasing personal and academic interest in processes of development, growth and search for meaning among many around the world, young and old. The eudaimonic approach, which views the wide scope of attaining fulfillment and meaning as part of optimal human functioning, is gaining support and serves as a wide “umbrella” for research and applications of areas and approaches which have developed in order to address fundamental existential questions which humans have been pondering since time immemorial. Among these is the question: what is a life worth living? The seminar examined this question from a contemporary viewpoint and included academic research, practical applications and experiential workshops.
